Ramallah (02/05/2016) – Occupation forces arrested Journalist and Human Rights Activist Hasan Safadi while he was crossing Al Karameh Bridge yesterday (01/05/2016) where he was detained at around 4.00 PM and then was transferred to Al Moskobiyyeh Interrogation Center. A hearing was held today (02/05/2016) at the Magistrate Court in Jerusalem, during which the judge decided to extend the detention period for seven additional days to allow for interrogation, to end on Sunday, 08/05/2016. Ofer Military Court has issued an administrative detention order against journalist Omar Nazzal today, Monday 02 May 2016. The order is set to end on 22 August 2016, but may be renewed indefinitely. Israeli High Court Postpones Decision on Setting Date for Returning of Bodies of Extrajudicially Executed Palestinians Ramallah - The Israeli High Court decided to postpone looking into the petition filed by Addameer attorney Adv. Mohammad Mahmoud regarding setting a date for returning the bodies of Palestinians who were extrajudicially executed to their families. Ramallah - The Magistrate’s Court of the Palestinian Authority extended the detention of five young Palestinians for further interrogation. These extensions apply to the following detainees: Basil Al-Araj (33 years old), Mohammed Harb (23 years old), Haytham Siyaj (19 years old), Mohammed Al-Salamen (19 years old) and Ali Dar al Sheikh (22 years old). Appeal against the administrative detention of Palestinian circus trainer and performer Mohammad Abu Sakha has been rejected. Ramallah - 3/11/2015 - In the aftermath of the recent events in the occupied Palestinian territory, Israeli occupation forces have arrested 1,195 Palestinians including 177 underage children during October. The arrests further included 16 women and 23 arrests of injured Palestinians. The arrests took place as follows: 314 arrests were from occupied Jerusalem, 156 were from 1948 occupied territory, 111 were from Ramallah, 245 were from Hebron, 66 were from Jenin, 35 from Tulkarem, 98 from Nablus, 29 from Jericho, 87 from Bethlehem, 27 from Qalqilya, 18 from Salfi and 9 from Tubas.
