Ramallah- 13/9/2015- The coordinator of Addameer’s legal unit, Ayman Nasser, was released yesterday from Ofer Prison near Ramallah after spending one year in administrative detention without charge or trial. Ayman Nasser (45 years old), was arrested on 18/9/2014 from his home in the village of Saffa near Ramallah and was placed under a three months administrative detention by means of a military order from the Israeli occupation that was renewed three times. Ramallah- 9/9/2015- Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association lawyer Adv. Mohammad Mahmoud reported that the judge of the Magistrate Court in Jerusalem rejected the request to release Salah Ayoubi (12 years old) and Rami Rabee (12 years old) this morning. The judge decided to keep them in detention until 8:00 PM tonight to be released afterwards on a 2000 NIS bail and to be held on house arrest until Sunday, in addition to a third party bail of 4000 NIS. Update on hearing of Palestinian Legislative Council member Khalida Jarrar Yesterday, 24 August 2015, the first hearing for witness testimonies in the trial of Palestinian Legislative Council member Khalida Jarrar was held. Three of the prosecution’s witnesses attended, and two presented their testimonies due to time constraints. The two witnesses spoke about the conditions of which their confessions were obtained, including torture and ill treatment.
