"In a dangerous precedent... The occupation authorities have issued an arbitrary administrative detention order for four months against a child who is only fourteen years old!

In a dangerous precedent, the occupation authorities have issued an arbitrary administrative detention order against 14-year-old Ammar Sobhi Mohammed Abdul Kareem from the town of Abwein in the Ramallah district. Occupation forces raided his home after midnight on August 21, 2024, after blowing up the doors. They searched the house, assaulted him with beatings, and restrained him before holding him alone in one of the rooms. He was then transferred to Ofer Prison, where he remains detained till today.

National Day for the Retrieval of Martyrs' Bodies - August 27th

Facts about the Martyrs Whose Bodies are Held in Numbered Cemeteries, Refrigerators, and the Sde Teman Military Base:

 

The number of martyrs whose bodies are held amounts to 552, including 256 in numbered cemeteries and 296 since the return of the policy of holding bodies in 2015. Among them are:

 

- 9 female martyrs.

- 32 martyrs from the prisoners movement.

- 55 children under the age of 18.

- 5 martyrs from the 1948 occupied territories.

The Occupation has Transferred Administrative Detainee Khalida Jarrar to Isolation Under Difficult Conditions for Seven Consecutive Days and Counting

The Israeli Prison Services has kept administrative detainee, human rights activist, feminist, and former member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Khalida Jarrar, in isolation Neve Tirza prison in Ramleh for seven consecutive days. Jarrar was arrested at dawn on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from her home in Ramallah, and was issued a six-month administrative detention order, which was renewed for an additional six months, set to expire in December 2024.

On July 29, 2024, the occupation’s military police raided Sde Teman military camp, detaining soldiers accused of brutally sexually assaulting a male detainee from Gaza. The male detainee is reported to have severe signs of rape using sharp torture tools. Lawyers have documented numerous cases of torture and sexual violence against detainees from Gaza, revealing a grim pattern of abuse within the Sde Teman military camp.
