“Both Palestinian men and women have endured decades of suffering due to the violence stemming from the Zionist occupation. They have been forcibly displaced from their homes, their cities and villages demolished, and subjected to imprisonment, torture, rape, and murder. The recent atrocities and massacres in Gaza, perpetrated by the terrorist Zionist State, serve as a glaring example of this genocidal policy. In solidarity with the Palestinian people and in defense of the legitimate rights of oppressed individuals, the Basque political prisoners who have endorsed this statement will observe a day of hunger strike on Friday, October 27.”
